EMS-CE (2-Hours) – Anaphylaxis Online BLS/ALS Continuing Education
This BLS/ALS Instructor Based CE online course provides training on common allergens and treatments, the basics of allergic reactions, and the progression to anaphylaxis. Students will learn about the signs, symptoms, and treatment for anaphylactic reaction.
EMS-CE (1-Hour) – Glasgow Coma Scale Online BLS/ALS Continuing Education
This Instructor Based BLS/ALS Online CE course covers the basics of the Glasgow Coma Scale and how to use and apply its findings to patients.
EMS-CE (1-Hour) – Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA)
This BLS/ALS Instructor Based online training course explains MRSA and how it impacts EMS providers, hospital workers and the public. Students will learn about the signs, symptoms, and treatment of MRSA. Prevention and precautions will also be discussed.
EMS-CE (1-Hour) – Vancomycin-Resistant Enterococcus (VRE)
This BLS/ALS Instructor Based online course explains VRE, including how it is acquired, transmitted, and the associated risk factors. Students will learn about the signs, symptoms, and treatment of VRE, along with how VRE impacts EMS providers, hospital workers and the public. Prevention and precautions will also be discussed.
EMS-CE (8-Hours) – Hazmat First Responder Operations (FRO) Level II Responder
This online FRO course is designed to help workers meet the OSHA HAZWOPER requirement for HAZMAT First Responder Operations (FRO) training. A Department of Transportation (DOT) Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) is mailed to each student.
EMS-CE (4-Hours) – Hazmat First Responder Awareness (FRA) Level I Responder
This online FRA training course is designed to help workers meet the OSHA HAZWOPER requirement for HAZMAT First Responder Awareness (FRA) training. A DOT ERG will be mailed to each student.
EMS-CE (24 Hours) - 24 Hour EMT Refresher Topics Course Online
Our 24 Hour EMT Refresher Topics Course was designed for currently certified or expired (within the 6 month grace period) State of California EMTs. This course applies as Continuing Education (CE) credit. This online EMS course meets local and state requirements for California. It may be accepted in other states who accept CA-approved distributive education and who are not utilizing the NCCP format. EMS-CE (48 Hours) - 48 Hour Online Paramedic Refresher Topics Course
Our 48 Hour Online Paramedic Refresher Topics course is designed for current or expired (no longer than 12 months) State of California Paramedics. The course includes Instructor based training for California Licensed Paramedics, and meets the state and local requirements for California. Course content includes: Paramedic Operations; Airway, Breathing, and Cardiology; Medical Emergencies; Trauma; Obstetrics and Pediatrics; and Special Operations.
