Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Emergency Medical Responders provide immediate lifesaving care and interventions to critical patients before additional EMS resources arrive on scene. EMRs play a vital role in the emergency medical services system, performing basic interventions with minimal equipment, under medical oversight. EMRs also assist higher-level personnel at the scene and during transport.
