About This Course
Our CSTI 8-Hour First Responder Operations (FRO) Decontamination (Classroom Version) course is designed for personnel previously trained to the First Responder Operations (FRO) level, to conduct responder decontamination as part of an organized response to hazardous materials releases or weapons of mass destruction involved incidents.
This course is intended to train FRO’s to perform responder decontamination for any type of chemical spill and in any level of chemical protection under the direct supervision of a Decontamination Leader. The training focuses on using equipment and personnel on-hand, in support of local hazmat team members, during a hazmat incident.
Prerequisite Training
Students taking this course must have previously completed training equal or greater to OSHA HAZWOPER First Responder Operations (FRO) training.
