Tennessee Regulations
Tennesee has a federally approved occupational safety and health program, enforced by the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development / Division of Occupational Safety and Health (TOSHA). The state of Tennessee has adopted by reference the federal HAZWOPER workplace safety and health regulations for general industry. Tennessee HAZWOPER standards mirror federal regulations, though there are some state specific requirements.
