The DOT Hazmat regulations found in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) leave many workers confused about what DOT Hazmat certification and training is required. 49 CFR provides regulations for hazardous materials transportation and safety. 49 CFR 172.704 lists the training requirements required for hazmat employees and it can be a lot to sift through and digest.
