OSHA 24 Hour HAZMAT Technician – Online
$175 – Workers required to take 24 hours of Hazardous Materials Technician training per OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii) can complete this training online. The training includes First Responder Operations training and the transition from an FRO to a Hazmat Technician. The final 8 hours of this Level III Responder course cover equipment familiarization and students will complete a simulation of their role in an emergency response.
OSHA 24 Hour HAZMAT Technician – Online (16 Hrs Online w/ Verifiable Prior FRO)
$175 – For those who have completed FRO certification within the past year and want to upgrade to the Hazmat Technician level, this course provides 16 hours of online training to fill the gap. The course will include emergency response planning, toxicology, exposure guidelines, site control, hazard and risk assessment, and more. Additional topics include chemical protective clothing, donning and doffing, detection and monitoring, and an online tabletop exercise for students to complete.
OSHA 24 Hour HAZMAT Technician – Blended (16 Hrs Online & 8 Hrs Classroom)
$275 – With this Hazmat technician course option, students will complete 16 hours of online Hazmat tech training, and then follow up with 8 hours of classroom hands-on training at one of our locations. The training will teach students about advance control, containment, and confinement of hazardous materials spills and releases, as well as decontamination procedures.
OSHA 24 Hour HAZMAT Technician – Blended (8 Hrs Online & 8 Hrs Classroom w/ Verifiable Prior FRO)
$225 – With prior FRO training completed in the last year, workers can upgrade to the Hazmat Technician training level by completing 16 additional hours of training. This course option includes 8 hours of online training followed by 8 hours of hands-on classroom training at one of our facilities. During the hands-on portion, students will have access to practice with and get training regarding specialized equipment used by Hazmat Techs.
HAZMAT Technician Training Refresher (8 Hour)
$79.95 – Per the HAZMAT Technician training requirement 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(8)(i), Hazmat Technicians are required to complete annual refresher training of sufficient content and duration to maintain their competencies. We offer three versions of this 8 hour Hazmat Technician refresher course to ensure students get training that is applicable to their job. Choose from: 1) ERG, Animated Video Series & Tabletop Exercise; 2) Incident Command & Aniumated Videos; or 3) PPE & Online Tabletop Exercise.
HAZMAT Technician Training Refresher (4 Hour)
$59.95 – This 4 Hour Hazmat Tech Refresher course refreshes 24 Hour Hazmat Tech training. If the student feels 4 hour course will not be of sufficient content and duration to maintain their competencies, they should instead enroll in our 8 Hour Refresher course. There are three different versions of this course to choose from: ERG, Site Control & Incident Safety; Basic PPE for Hazmat Technicians; Incident Command, Animated Videos & Interactive Exercise.
HAZMAT First Responder Operations Level II FRO Responder (& Refresher Options)
$69.95 / $79.95 – As one of our most popular courses, we offer an 8 Hour Hazmat FRO training course which can be taken as initial training or as annual refresher training. Alternatively, we offer a 4-6 Hour FRO Refresher. Workers should choose refresher training with sufficient content and duration to maintain their competencies. Training topics include: Hazmat emergency response; Hazardous materials, hazardous substances, and hazardous wastes; Hazmat incidents; The Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG); First Responder actions; PPE; Fire control; FRO entry operations; FRO mitigation; and more.
HAZMAT First Responder Awareness Level I FRA Responder (& Refresher Option)
$59.95 – For those who need to meet OSHA training requirements in 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(i), our Hazmat FRA training can be taken as either the initial training course or as an annual refresher. The course includes training on: The Emergency Response Guidebook; FRA Hazmat response and actions; Emergency response plan; Hazmat incident recognition; Hazmat emergency responder levels; and more.
Using the Current Emergency Response Guidebook
$19.95 / $29.95 (w/ mailed ERG) – This ERG online course provides in-depth training on the effective use of the most current Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG). Students will need a copy of the current ERG to use during training, so if needed, it can be ordered along with the course, or there is a free downloadable version available online.
