Who Should Take This Course?

Per 29 CFR 1910.134, OSHA requires the employer to provide effective training to employees who are required to use respirators. The training must be comprehensive, understandable, and recur annually and more often if necessary.

• The OSHA Respiratory Protection can be taken for EMS Continuing Education (CE) credits as an option for $29.95.

• This course is designed to help workers to meet the OSHA Respiratory Protection training requirement.

This training can serve as the bulk of classroom training as part of a respiratory training program; however, more training is required on the specific respirators that workers will use, and specific administrative and operational considerations in accordance with the employer's respiratory protection program. This course is divided into two sections, each of which should take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

This course has one 25 question final exam. A 70% score or better is required to pass the final exam.
If a student does not pass the exam the first time, they may retake the exam as many times as necessary in order to pass.
